शंघाई मैग्लेव ट्रेन या शंघाई ट्रांसरैपिड एक चुंबकीय उत्तोलन ट्रेन लाइन है जो शंघाई, चीन में संचालित होती है। यह अभी भी परिचालन में सबसे पुराना वाणिज्यिक मैग्लेव है, और 431 किमी/घंटा की परिभ्रमण गति वाला पहला वाणिज्यिक उच्च गति वाला मैग्लेव है। यह दुनिया की सबसे तेज व्यावसायिक इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रेन भी है।

They are ideal for bringing irrigation water to fields, and have the added benefit of being more fuel efficient in terms of the amount of fuel consumed relative to the volume of water delivered when lifting water up to 3 meters in height from rivers, canals or ponds. They are also widely used in fisheries and for draining water from fields. However, the 'axial flow pump' boom never reached other deltaic countries like Bangladesh, where they could have similar benefits for the millions of farming families who are progressively more interested in growing profitable and irrigated dry season crops. This entertaining film shows the ways in which these pumps can be used for irrigation in Bangladesh.
